Early Order of Odd Fellows Fraternal Sword. Ca. 1880-1920; overall length 35.5", with the hilt fittings in gilt brass also on the nickel plated scabbard. The nicely etched and decorated blade is lightly gilt and named to "Smith N. Sheldon" as "Patriarchs Militant", and maker maked "M.C. Lilley & Co. Columbus, Ohio." Wear to the wrapped leather grip and a few areas of the gilding, otherwise very good condition with an excellent blade.
