Lot 50

(1792-1794) Kentucky Halfpenny with Plain Edge. . Br-1155. NGC graded MS-63 Brown. Dark steel brown and chocolate with traces of frosty lighter steel brown toning in protected areas. The only mark is a small, very lightly abraded spot of greenish crud around the second I in UNANIMITY left of the bottom of the scroll. Nicely struck, but the surfaces are a bit dull from a thin layer of natural oxidation. The plain edge feature is noted on the NGC label, but this can't be verified in the slab.
Estimated Value $750 - 1,000.

Unsold
