Apollo 14, 1971, "Fisher Space Pen". This two-part, pull apart pen ("Pen by Fisher. U.S.A.") in original blue plush box (faults) comes with a Consignor's typed/signed COA that reads: "I have been friends with Al Sheppard since our days at Langley, Virginia, He gave me this Space Pen after our quarantine for Apollo 14". A similar unsigned descriptive card is also included. The white card protective box over the plush box has a handwritten notation: "Gift from Al Shepard after Apollo 14". We don't know if this piece was flown or not, but there is a good chance it may have been. Attractive and scarce.
Estimated Value $250 - 350.
Ex. the photo technician Terry Slezak collection.
