Lot 446

1825 N-7 R3 VF25. Sharpness EF40 but covered with extremely fine roughness, and there is shallow verdigris caked into protected areas on both sides, especially on the reverse. The only mark is a tiny rim nick under the 8. Rather frosty dark olive and steel with lighter steel toning on the highpoints. LDS. There are clearly defined rim cud breaks on the upper half of the obverse and a fine die crack from star 4 to the forehead. The earlier die crack from the lowest curl down to the rim right of the date is clear.
Estimated Value $200-UP.

Realized $253
