Typed Letter Signed with holograph note, on Federal Reserve Bank letterhead, Kansas City, Missouri, October 13, 1953, one page, quarto. To Cyrus S. Ching, a pioneer in resolving labor relations peacefully, regarding Ching's book, Review and Reflection: a Half Century of Labor Relations, published in 1953. Truman writes, "I am more than happy that you changed your mind and decided to set down some facts that need to be told. I am looking forward to receiving that book and I know I am going to read it with interest…." Truman boldly pens a note below his signature, "The book came and I am delighted with the inscription." One staple mark at upper left, else very fine.
