Erly Archaic 7500 BC. Huge Dovetail Point. Huge point measuring 4½ x 1½ " and was made from either Sainte Genevieve chert or hornstone. Known also as Plevna in the south and St. Charles points in the Midwest, it is believed to be at least 7,500 years old, based on excavations at the Tellico Reservoir in Eastern Tennessee. This fine example displays high quality workmanship with a smooth patina and a chip to the tip that appears to be prehistoric, accompanied by a Jerry Dickey COA. $800 - 1,000
