Lot 4114

1907 $20 St. Gaudens. High relief, Roman numerals, wire rim. PCGS graded MS-64. A very choice example of this most famous coin. The High Relief has always been a favorite of collectors, from the day they were coined forward to today. Well struck by the dies, with the satiny swirl lines noted in the fields from the careful die polishing. Decidedly few bagmarks or handling marks, this coin has the appearance of a higher grade. Certain to please the collector who has long desired to own just the "right" specimen.
Estimated Value $14,000-UP.

Realized $17,538
