Hungary. Goldgulden, ND. Fr-2; CNH-1. 3.54 grams. 22.8 mm. Karl Robert, 1307-1342. Florentine Lily. Leg: Cross. Karo -LU-REX. Reverse: St. John. Leg. Cross. S. IOHA - NNES.B. Crown. A distinctly uncommon coin. Boldly struck and well center. NGC graded AU-55.

This is one of the earliest Goldguldens stuck, and the first collectible gold coin of Hungary. Modelled after the Florentine type, the legend defines it as Hungarian origin. A seldom offered type.
