Lot 405

1836 N-3 R1 PCGS graded MS61 Brown. Glossy light to medium chocolate brown and steel. A very attractive cent showing just a trace of friction on the highest points. A spot of slightly darker toning against the leaf over the NE in ONE is the best identifying mark. Sharply struck EDS. The fields are smooth and slightly reflective and the fine die line from the berry to the M is sharp. A neat die state. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Fricke provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 8 finer for the variety. Estimate Value $300 - UP
Ex Don Valenziano-Chris McCawley.
