Young crowned bust right, breaking inner circle of legend at top. Leg: FERDINAND.IIID:G.R.I.SA.G.H.B.REX.DVX.S Reverse: Crowned double eagle breaking inncer circle at top and swan mintmark breaking circle at the bottom. Leg: ARCHIDVXAVST.D - VX. BVRMM.C.T.1642. Boldly struck example. Rare. NGC graded MS-62.

A very seldom seen type, especially this choice. Ferdinand is pictured as a young man, yet the Thirty Years War would age him considerably. He was able to see his Empire at peace for a few years before his death.
