Taylor, Elizabeth. Right edge nick with some creasing; two file holes at top margin; stapled at top left corner. (b. 1932) British born American actress noted for her beauty and the emotionalism of her acting. She rose to stardome in National Velvet (1944) at the age of twelve and went on to memorable performances in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958), Butterfield 8 (1960) which garnered her an Oscar. She went on to star in several films with her co-star and husband, Richard Burton, including another Oscar winning performance in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966).

Early Document Signed One page, Quarto, n.p., February 21, 1949. Notice to Loew's Incorporated, parent company of MGM, of her upcoming appearance on the Betty Crocker radio program.

In part, "… I agree that such appearance shall not be deemed to be rendered by me under my contract of employment with you and that no compensation shall be payable by you to me… "

Boldly signed in green ink by both Taylor, a minor at the time, and her mother. Fine.
