Nicklaus, Jack. Staple holes in top of letter and minor smudging, otherwise clean. (1940-) World famous golfer. Winner of the US Amateur title in 1959 and 1961. Has won all of the major titles; the British Open (1966, 70, 78), the US Open (1962, 67, 72, 80), the US PGA (1963, 71, 73, 75, 80) and the US Masters a record six times (1963, 65-66, 72, 75, 86).

Typed Letter Signed. One page, Octavo, on personal stationery, North Palm Beach, Florida, May 13, 1991. Boldly signed on recto in black felt pen. Includes transmittal envelope. In part:

"Dear Otto: / Thank you for your recent letter about your golf clubs. Those do not happen to be clubs which I'm interested in adding to my collections, but it was nice of you to bring them to my attention. / Frankly, it is difficult to put a value on "classic" golf clubs--after all, a club is only worth as much as someone is actually willing to pay for it!… Hope this will be of help to you, and best wishes for continued good golfing. / Sincerely Jack Nicklaus".
