1860 $3 Gold. PCGS graded MS-62. Light even gold toning. Only 7,155 struck. A satin-fresh beauty with delicate features typical for the year (as the master hub deteriorated with each new production run, the quality of the fine hair strands and feather plumes tends to become less distinct by the late-1870s and 1880s. Level, rolling luster with smooth gold color mingle on the satiny choice surfaces. Pop 28; 29 finer, 13 in 63, 12 in 64, 1 in 65, 3 in 67 (PCGS # 7980) .
