Mills, Donald. Fold crease in the center of card, otherwise clean. Famous vocal group from the 1930s and 40s. With hits such as "Tiger Rag", "Goodbye Bluez", "You're Nobody's Sweetheart Now". Helped in their rise to fame by Duke Ellington, who heard them perform and put them in contact with record executive, Tommy Rockwell. In September of 1930, they auditioned for Ralph Wonder of CBS radio. The CBS "brass" were so impressed that the brothers were put on the radio that day and signed to a 3-year contract the next, becoming the first African-Americans to have a network show on radio.
