Rome. Lot of Severan Denarii, c. 201-230 AD. Most are laureate heads. Included are: Septimius Severus, two pieces: Severus at altar; and Felicitas reverse. Caracalla, 2 pieces: reverse with Caracalla on horseback (Sear II 6874), chipped; and Roma / Virtus reverse. Severus Alexander: Sol reverse. Also, a Denarius of Sulla, 82 BC., on short, thick flan, two banker's marks on obverse (Sear II 286). Also, C. Fabius C.f. 102 BC.: Cybele / Biga (Sear II 200 var., Fabia 15). And lastly, Arcadia, Achaean League, Hemidrachm (SGC 2998). Inspection recommended, due to the variety of preservation and surfaces. Some good coins. Lot of 7 coins. Coins range from About Fine to Very Fine plus.
