Half Dollar. 1881. AU-58. Prooflike. As are most of the regular issue mintage of this date. The Philadelphia Mint, and all the others as well, focused their entire energy on producing millions and millions of Morgan Dollars, and ran off only 10,000 coins for circulation. Lovely toning with some medium gold at the periphery, and typical hairlines in the fields. Well struck, too.
