Howard, Leslie (1893- 1943) English born Actor. Leading man in The Scarlet Pimpernel (1935) and Pygmalion (1938, co-director) Played Ashley Wilkes in Gone with the Wind (1939). During WWII, he appeared in many British productions and is thought to have been killed when a special mission flight from Lisbon to London was shot down.
