Katharine Hepburn ALS and fabulous Signed Photo. The ALS with the mention of "Spence" is uncommon and the inscribed and signed photo is exquisite, and quite rare as she came to dislike signing photos, and virtually all examples seen after 1960 are forgeries. We are quite pleased to offer what is undoubtedly the finest authentic signed photograph of Hepburn to come on the market in years. Both matted and framed to an overall size of 20 x 11". (1909-) Oscar award winning actress. Monring Glory (1933), Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? (1967), The Lion in Winter (1968) and On Golden Pond (1981), and she is also remembered for her outstanding role in The African Queen (1952). Her name will always be linked with Spencer Tracy for the time they spent together on screen and off.

Autograph Letter Signed and Inscribed Photo.; matted and framed together. Two pieces:

A. Autograph Letter Signed, Two pages, Octavo on her personal imprinted letterhead, n.p., n.d. In full: "What an adorable thing for you to do. It just made the evening as far as I was concerned. I can't begin to tell you how curiously secure it made me feel. Like the little rose that Laurette gave to Spence on his opening in Rugged Path. Thank you and thank you, Love Kate."

B. Inscribed Photo Signed. An exquisite 8 by 10" glossy black and white photo from her hit Woman of the Year, 1942, inscribed and signed across a light area. Fine.
