Palestine. 1935 Complete Set of 6 Cafe Werner Tokens. Includes copper-nickel 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 units; reverse inscribed "CAFE WERNER HAIFA." Planchets were struck in Vienna and inscibed in Haifa, where the cafe was opened on Herzl Street. These were probably used as counters by the waiters, until the business closed in 1951.
