Gardner, Ava (1922- 1990) Film actress of the 40s, 50s and 60s. Attained significant notoriety as a stunning femme fatale in The Killers(1946), was once voted the world's most beautiful woman. Starred later in The Barefoot Contessa (1954), and Night of the Iguana (1964).
Inscribed Cut Signature 4 1/2 x 2 1/2", n.d., n.p., "Best Wishes / Ava Gardner" in black ink. Matted and framed with a black and white, 8 x 10" glossy portrait of the screen siren. Overall 16 x 22". Very Fine.
