A fascinating selection of World War I P.O.W. notes, 1915-17 from various camp locations (50 pcs - 48 different with 2 duplicates); Post WW I Inflation notes of numerous regions and cities (42 pcs - 40 different with 2 duplicates); Plus Regular Issues of Imperial, Inflation, Weimar, WW II, Allied Occupation and Federal Republic periods (147 pcs), quite a varied group with significant duplication of a few Pick numbers. Some of the better items are: Saxe-Meiningen 1 Thaler 1849 P-S711 Poor with tape repair on back; Stadt Mogilno 1 Mark 12 August 1914 on thick card stock, serial # 3818, hand signed F-VF and very scarce; 50 Mark 30 Nov 1918 P-65 EF-AU; 1000 Mk. 15 Dec 1922 P-82a UNC; 500 Milliarden Mk. 1923 P-124a VF, hinge remnant on back; 100 MD Mk. 1923 P-133 AU-UNC; Winter Help Work 50 Pf., 1 Mk., 5 Mk., 1940-41 handsigned, all nice UNC; 50 Mk. 1944 P-M41 EF; Fed. Rep. 20 Mk. 1948 VG-F. Except as mentioned above, grades range from Good to Uncirculated with many notes in the middle and upper grade levels.
