Septimius Severus, AD 193-211. Gold Aureus (7.26 g) minted at Rome, AD 193-194. Laureate head right of Septimius Severus. Reverse: Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm. RIC 22 [as Rare]; BMC 27. Excellent high-relief portrait. Extremely Fine.
