1829 C-1 R1 F15. Double Struck Off Center. Five points sharper but there are some dull scratches at stars 1 & 2. Attractive glossy chocolate brown. Double struck. The first strike was 40% off center to K-2 and the second was centered on the planchet. The face of Ms Liberty is visible in the back of the cap, a couple stars from that first strike show at the forehead, and parts of the 2 in the date show in the dentils at star 11. Similar strong evidence of the off center strike can be found on the reverse. UNITE is visible to the unaided eye under the N in CENT and strong remnants of the wreath pass up through the T in CENT.
