Commodus, AD 177-192. AR Denarius minted at Rome, AD 186. Laureate head right of Commodus. Reverse: Commodus standing left on platform, holding spear, haranguing three soldiers standing right. Sear 5639; RIC 271. Lightly toned. A nice example of this very scarce and interesting reverse type. Very Fine.
