Great Britain. Halfcrown, 1834. S.3834A; ESC-660; KM-714.2. William IV, 1830-1837. WW in block lettering below truncation. Obverse: Bare head of King facing right. Reverse: Crowned shield on mantle. Superb original old golden and green tone. This is a difficult variety to purchase in this quality. So often seen in extremely fine or lower grades, the catalogue price of £1100 in mint state reflects its true worth. NGC graded MS-62.
