Great Britain. Bronzed Proof Penny, 1831. S.3845; KM-707. William IV, 1830-1837. Reverse inverted. Obverse: Bare head of King right. Reverse: Seated figure of Britannia facing right, holding ornamental trident in left hand. This is an exceptionally high quality example, crisply struck with precise detail. A beautiful chocolate proof which is free from the usual tiny scuffs and marks so often evident on these large copper specimens. NGC graded Proof 65 Brown.
