Lot 327
1796 S-89 R3 Liberty Cap. VG-7. A few points sharper but the surfaces are very lightly corroded under a rather glossy dark olive and steel patina. A few small spots of reddish brown verdigris can be found on both sides, but there are no significant marks. The date is complete and easily readable but not strong, and the legends are clear except for OF, which is faint.
