1794 S-47 R4 Blundered Edge Letters. VG-7. A few points sharper with a dozen or so shallow pitmarks scattered over the obverse, mostly on the right side. There are additional similar marks on the reverse, but many of them appear to be shallow digs rather than pits. No verdigris, and the remainder of the planchet is smooth. Lightly cleaned and retoned glossy steel with chocolate toning in protected areas. The date and legends are complete and clear. MDS, Breen state II. The reverse is rotated 35 degrees CW from the normal head-to-foot orientation. In addition, the edge lettering is blundered with the FO in FOR positioned under the ED in HUNDRED.
