Philip V, 221-179 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.64g) struck 188-179 BC. Macedonian shield adorned around with seven stars within double cresents; at center, helmeted head left of Philip as the hero Perseus, harpa over right shoulder. Reverse: Club; one monogram above, two below; around, oak wreath; to left, trident. Cf. Mamroth, Philip 17 (lower right monogram); AMNG III, 3 (monograms). Nearly Extremely Fine.
