Attica, Athens, c. 143-142 BC. AR "New Style" Tetradrachm (16.69 g). Head right of Athena, wearing triple-crested helmet decorated with palmette and griffin. Reverse: Owl standing right on overturned amphora; in right field, Artemis carrying torch; all within olive wreath. Cf. Thompson 697-709. Slightly doubled. Extremely Fine.
Because of the strike, exact attribution to one Thompson number is not possible.
