Lot 3067

1802. Narrow date. BB-241; B-6 R1. NGC graded AU-55. Light silver and gold toning that is deepest at the rim; another outstanding example of an early Bust silver dollar. Blue and gold primarily on the reverse. Very bold details. With an estimated population of 1,500 to 2,750 specimens, 1802 BB-241 is more plentiful than all other varieties of 1802 combined, but what does it matter with a coin this attractive and appealing! Pop 4; 8 finer for the variety at NGC.
Estimated Value $8,000 - 9,000.
