Lot 3065

1801. BB-211; B-1 R4. NGC graded AU-53. Well struck with light natural grey toning. The stars are very bold. The dollars of 1801, despite their relatively low mintage, were one of the hardest working classes of bust dollars in existence, with worn pieces aplenty but choice examples like the present coin having much to be admired. Pop 1; 2 in 55; 1 in 58. Among the finest for the grade.
Estimated Value $8,000 - 9,000.

Realized $9,775
