Britain. Celtic Coinage, Corieltauvi. South Ferriby type, c. 45-10 BC. Gold Stater (5.56 g). Abstract or Celticized head right of Apollo (mainly the wreath). Reverse: Disjointed horse left; below horse, eight-pointed star. Van Arsdell 811-5 [as Scarce]. Extremely Fine.

Minted from very fresh dies, this type is usually seen less defined and struck in low relief.
