1850 C-1 Breen 1-A Rarity 6+ (as a proof). Proof 60. Lightly cleaned and covered with a very thin layer of lacquer or some similar protectant. No spots, hairlines, or other defects. The toning is an unnatural reddish tan and light bluish steel, and this color is unlikely to change with the lacquer shielding the surfaces. Nonetheless, the fields are nicely reflective and the strike is very sharp. EDS, Breen die state I for the proof strikes.
