Egypt. Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy I, as King, 305-283 BC. Lot of Two AR Tetradrachms. By the "Delta Master:" Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, tiny Δ behind ear. Reverse: Eagle standing left on thunderbolt, P and Φ in left field. BMC unlisted. Second similar to previous, but H and club in left field. BMC p. 9, 75ff. First, boldly struck and lightly toned. Second with small cruciform countermark at obverse edge. Lot of 2 coins. First, Choice Very Fine; other Fine.
