1934, $500 Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Currency Superb Gem New 68PPQ. . Fr-2201-A. Only four $500s from all series and districts combined have received this lofty grade from PCGS Currency, with none finer to date. Apparently all are from a small run from the Boston district, as all are 1934 series notes from here. This one is strictly original, with letter perfect centering and bold embossing that is visible through the holder. If you want the best, this is it for this denomination--it's truly as nice as they come.
