Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 AD. Year 3 (undated). Lot of Two Middle Bronzes. . Hen-736. Struck 134/135 AD. Each with: Palm tree of seven branches, with two date clusters below; Hebrew inscription in field ("Shim'on"). Reverse: Large vine leaf with branch; Hebrew around. Hendin 736; Mild. 113. Both with deep green to dark brown patinas, with some orichalcum highlights. One on thin, spread flan; the other compact, but thicker. Both good, clean strikes. Both average Very Fine.
