Caracalla, AD 198-217. AE Sestertius minted at Rome, c. AD 211. Laureate, bearded bust right of Caracalla, left shoulder draped. Reverse: Victory standing right, left foot on helmet, ereting trophy; to right, Britannia standing facing, bound captive seated left at her feet. Sear 6958; RIC 464 (R2) corr. (Victory standing left). Very rare. Glossy reddish brown patina. Light smoothing in fields. Extremely Fine.
