1895 Barber Half Dollar. NGC graded Proof 68 Star. A super gem proof with incredible multi-color iridescent toning on both sides. The obverse displays Liberty washed in an arc of light to dark violet hues with a band of electric blue and rose. The reverse exhibits a blending of midnight iridescent colors. A total of 880 proofs were made, few of which can match the beauty of this. NGC reports only 2 at this level with none higher . This beauty could stir considerable competition among Registry Set enthusiasts.
