1865. NGC graded Proof 65 Ultra Cameo. A blast white Gem, with heavily frosted central devices and glittering Proof fields. The surfaces have an extremely fine, orange-peel texture, similar to that seen on gold coins, but much finer and tighter. Both sides are colorless except for a tiny spot of toning on the reverse rim at 7:00. A visual stunner and a perfect coin for type purposes. NGC has graded only one example at this grade level, plus 4 finer (all PR-66 DCAM). Estimated Value $17,000 - 19,000
