1817 N-9 R2 VF30 "Mouse". Sharpness AU50 but covered with uniform extremely fine granularity. No verdigris or marks. Frosty reddish chocolate brown and steel, the obverse displaying more gloss than the reverse, which is relatively dull. LDS with a "Mouse" break on top of the head under star 8, the lump more closely resembling a little rodent on this variety than on the others of the date. Estimated Value $100-UP
