A gleaming frosty capped bust left half eagle of the highest order in terms of detail and visual impact for this popularly collected design. Choice luster blends smoothly with brilliant golden highlights on the frosted surfaces. Here, too, we are struck by the nice, convincing design detail for all areas of this important coin with not even the slightest amount of flatness on the hair curls, or the eagle's shield and wings.
