Over 200 Studio Stills, Original and Vintage Re-Strikes, Legends of Hollywood. A fantastic lot for collectors or dealers alike, over 200 original studio stills a few from the 20s but certainly a nice balance of 30s-60s. About 50 of the stills are vintage original (original, from the period.) Many of these "of the period" stills are beautiul portraits including Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks Sr. Cary Grant, Paul Newman, Frank Sinatra, Sessue Hayakawa (3 sepia) Lillian Gish sepia, Helen Gahagan (3 actress and California politician), Jimmy Durante, Will Rogers, Jayne Mansfied. Add to that a variety of vintage original film stills including of movies starring Errol Flynn, Jimmy Stewart, Katherine Hepburn, Kim Novac, David Niven, Charles Boyer and many more stars from great films.
Too many film represented here to list, but know a majority are from the great films of Warner Brothers, Columbia, with several from Paramount, Universal and MGM. Every star one could imagine is here in this collection of vintage re-strikes. Overall, the collection has been beautifully cared for, with only the most minor evidence of wear on some, virtually all 8 x 10s, with a great percentage stamped or slugged on verso with print tagline information.
