1928. NGC graded MS-67. Star. Rich golden toning. This is about as nice as anyone could hope to find in a Saint-Gaudens double eagle. The luster is creamy and undisturbed by the usual nicks from handling, keeping the eye appeal high and this is a condition rarity at this lofty grade. Pop 5; 2 finer in 67+. (PCGS # 9189) .
