1935-S Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Well struck and mostly untoned. In the good old days, post-1934 walking Liberty half dollars were believed to be readily available in Gem condition. Nobody ever thought of doing a count of the actual gems that were in existence, but once third-party grading services developed population figures, the secret to the true scarcity became known. Pop 273; 91 finer; 89 in 66; 2 in 67. (PCGS # 6597) .
