Alfred Hitchcock Signed Photo from THE BIRDS. One of the great film and television director/producers of all time, Alfred Hitchcock was one of the most recognizable "brands" for the movie going public, not only because he would insert himself in the marketing of his films, but he would make a brief cameo in them, a tradition he maintained for decades. From his 1963 film THE BIRDS, here is a re-strike 8 x 10" photo from an early scene in the film of star, Tippi Hedren, in the dark suit entering the pet store, and director Hitchcock leaving with his actual pet terriers, Geoffrey and Stanley. The scene lasts only a few seconds but always good for a chuckle. Director Hitchcock has signed towards the bottom center of the photo to the right of Hedren's shoes in black pen. Photo and signature are in excellent condition. Estimated Value $500 - 700
