1847 N-20 R3 MS60. Frosty light brown and golden tan with flashy flowline luster covering the fields. There is a tiny dull hairline scratch at the L in LIBERTY and another just left of the coronet, plus a lamination streak from the ribbon end to the U, as struck. LDS, die state a late. The fields are covered with fine flowlines and the bottom edge of the ribbon loop is strongly doubled from die bounce. (There is no state b for this variety.) Removed from a PCGS slab graded MS64BN (PCGS label included). Comes with a nice provenance. DWH #2257.
