Great Britain. Noble, Nd. S.1505; Fr-95. Edward III, 1327-1377. Calais mint. Treaty period, 1361-1369. Obverse: King stands facing in ship, bearing sword and shield. No flag. Reverse Floriated cross with lis at ends, C in center. Especially choice with much original luster and an exquisite portrait. Struck on a full flan, the condition of this scarcer variety noble is outstanding. NGC graded MS-64.
