Thessaly, Pharsalos. Silver Drachm (5.97 g), 424-405/4 BC. Obverse die signed by the artist Telephantos. Helmeted head of Athena right; TH behind neckguard. Reverse: Φ-[A-P]-Σ around, warrior on horseback rearing right, holding mace over shoulder. Lavva 87 (V43/R52); cf. BCD Thessaly II 639 (T in exergue). Lightly toned. NGC grade XF; Strike: 5/5, Surface: 5/5. Fine style.
