1899, $5 Silver Certificate. PCGS Gem New 66PPQ. . Fr-271. . KL-241. True high grade Indian Chiefs are not especially rare, but original examples with bold embossing and near-perfect centering are highly valued in today's market. This specimen is as bright as can be, with vivid colors and terrific originality. If the centering were just a shade better, a Superb Gem grade would have been in order.
